A Review of Redesigned CASM With MCM

The basic idea behind this is that I was tired of seeing my character's death from thirst, being hit by a reproach or any number of other problems that the game had to offer. After hours of searching, the game crashed and I had to do a lot of respect and reinstall of all my plugins and stuff to get things back to where they were. The problem was, while doing this I also wanted to create an interface that didn't have all the bells and whistles of other games like the original Baldur's Gate and RPG Maker so I could cut down on some of the options menu options that were available from the start. This created a little bit of difficulty as you have to figure out how to make your MCM configurable but also simple enough so that if people don't want to change certain things they will be able to. That's when I decided to start searching for something that was made specifically for creating these sorts of settings and I came across a program called Redesigned CASM with MCM support.

This software has everything that I was looking for and even more than that I didn't have to add any other configuration to the vanilla game files. I was able to quickly implement the features that were most important to me such as disabling the camera during combat, not activating candles during night time and disabling inventory items at the moment that they are used. There's still quite a bit to cover but in short it was just a straightforward and easy to use mod that made my life a whole lot easier. The great thing about the program is that it's more friendly and supports several of the popular modding tools like Modular Mannequins and Modular Furniture so if you are someone who enjoys creating these kinds of mods, I highly recommend checking this one out.
